Reiki, pronounced ‘ray-key’, is a Japanese word which means ‘Universal Life Energy’.
It is an ancient teaching which evolved in the early twentieth century by Japanese Buddhist Dr Mikao Usui. He understood and taught how to harness and utilise the energy that is all around us and flows through all living things into a healing system.
Today, Reiki is taught by Reiki Masters who have learnt by the traditional passing down of attunements and teachings. All of our training courses are taught by 2 Reiki Masters – Natalie & Gabriella who are a mother and daughter team with many years experience working professionally.
Once you have learnt Reiki and attended a training course you can pass this ‘healing energy’ through your palms to the recipient. Most commonly this treatment is highly relaxing, gentle and can help with a range of problems and imbalances within the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects. It is a non-invasive therapy that can be a great solution to high levels of stress and helps restore balance and good flow within the body making it more capable to heal itself.
